Welcome to the Wichita County Clerk Vital Records online ordering system.

This is an official site from the Vital Statistics Office of Wichita County Texas.  Birth and Death Certificates are legal documents and will be treated as such. The information contained in the request is considered private.  Please be sure to complete all fields within the order and upload the required information.

Online requests will be processed during normal business hours. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  You will be notified by email when your order has been approved.  At that time, your order is ready for pick-up, or your document will be mailed within one business day.

The payment will be paid through Permitium Payments. The charge will show on your credit card statement as “PermVitalRecs”. This is a secure and trusted provider of payment services.

All Birth and Death Certificates from this office are certified copies of the original record on security paper that meets state requirements, which bears our County Seal and the Texas Administrative Code Department Seal within the paper.  We do NOT use an embossed seal per Texas Administrative Code Title 25 Part 1 Chapter 181 Subchapter B Rule 1813-28 –C –Security Features. All Certified copies of Marriage License are sealed with a raised embossed seal with an original signature of the deputy clerk.  Only certified copies can be obtained.

Processing of Applications:

-          You will receive an email notification when your application has successfully been submitted into the online ordering system.

-          You may receive a second email notification or a phone call if our office has questions regarding your order or needs additional information to process your request.

-          Once your application has been Approved, a confirmation email will be sent to notify you that your document is ready for pick-up, or will be mailed the following business day.

-          If you application has been Denied, you will be notified by email.  The payment amount for your order, less processing fees (Convenience, Credit Card, Vital Verify) will be refunded to the card you used with 5 business days.

Warning:  The penalty for knowingly making a false statement on this form can be 2-10 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000 (Health and Safety Code 195.003).

Attention:

The State Office is requiring that all applicants upload a form of identification when submitting their application. Click on the button below for information on the forms of identification acceptable.  When applying online, we only accept PRIMARY forms of identification (group A).
